Kenyatta Johnson-Walker Graduates from SAHMA Leadership Academy

Opelika Housing Authority is proud to recognize Kenyatta Johnson-Walker on her graduation from the Southeastern Affordable Housing Management Association (SAHMA) Leadership Academy.

The SAHMA Leadership Academy is a professional development program for affordable housing professionals who are looking to grow as leaders within their organizations and the housing industry. The program goes beyond traditional classroom training by combining leadership development, individual coaching, group learning and opportunities to connect with other housing professionals from across the Southeast.

Throughout the program, participants take a closer look at their own leadership styles, learn practical approaches for leading and working with others, and strengthen skills they can use in their day-to-day work. The academy also gives participants an opportunity to learn from the experiences of other affordable housing professionals and stay connected to changes taking place within the industry.

Completing the Leadership Academy requires a commitment of time and effort over several months, making Kenyatta's graduation an accomplishment worth celebrating.
