OHA Celebrates Mothers at Special Community Event

Even with the rain, Opelika Housing Authority's Mother's Day Celebration was a beautiful evening filled with laughter, conversation, and appreciation for the mothers in our community.

Residents gathered to enjoy flowers, sweet treats, and time together in an event designed to celebrate and honor the women who do so much for their families and community each day. From smiles and conversations to thoughtful gifts and moments shared with neighbors, the evening served as a reminder of how important it is to recognize and pour back into the mothers around us.

OHA would like to thank Lowe's Home Improvement, Young's Plant Farm, Mollie McMillian at Bonnie Plants, Phillistene Felder at Insomnia Cookies, and David at Crumbl Cookies for helping make the celebration so special. Their generosity and support helped create a memorable experience for the families who attended.
