OHA Celebrates Opelika 20 Under 40 Community Project
Opelika Housing Authority would like to congratulate the Opelika 20 Under 40 Class, including OHA's own Willie Mixon, on the successful reveal and ribbon cutting of this year's community service project at the Lee County Youth Development Center.
The project focused on creating a refreshed and welcoming recreation space for local youth to enjoy. Improvements included updated recreational surfaces, repaired equipment, a new fence, and a beautiful mural that adds color and positivity to the space. The transformation reflects the group's commitment to investing in projects that make a lasting impact on the community and the young people it serves.
OHA was proud to join the Opelika Chamber and community leaders in celebrating the completion of this meaningful project. Efforts like these continue to show the power of collaboration and community involvement in creating spaces where youth can learn, grow, and thrive.
We appreciate everyone who played a role in bringing this project to life and congratulate the Opelika 20 Under 40 Class on a job well done.
