Five YouthBuild Participants Graduate from SUSCC

The journey to success looks different for everyone, and on Friday, five determined YouthBuild participants reached a major milestone worth celebrating. Graduating from the Adult Education Department at Southern Union State Community College, these individuals demonstrated perseverance, growth, and commitment to building a better future for themselves and their communities.

The graduates are:

  • John Eli Booth

  • Jonquavious Leon Green

  • Rossy Karina Hernandez Gonzalez

  • Nykerria Derrianan Johnson

  • Gabriel Annatwonique Pendleton

Each of these graduates has overcome obstacles, balanced responsibilities, and stayed focused on their goals. Through their time in the YouthBuild program, they received not only academic instruction, but also the leadership development, job training, and life skills needed to move confidently into the next chapter of their lives.

This achievement reflects the mission of YouthBuild-to provide young people with the education, support, and resources they need to thrive in school, work, and life. Their graduation from Southern Union's Adult Education Program is a testament to what can be accomplished with dedication and the right support systems.

We are incredibly proud of John, Jonquavious, Rossy, Nykerria, and Gabriel, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact they will continue to make.

Congratulations, graduates. Your future is bright.
