FSS First Time Homebuyer Session

June is National Homeownership Month and Opelika Housing Authority's Family Self Sufficiency program celebrated with a special First Time Homebuyer Session on June 18.

Participants received practical budgeting tips and expert advice from guest speaker Mr Corey Frazier of Keller Williams Auburn Opelika to help them confidently take steps toward owning their first home. Whether just starting out or already making progress, this session provided valuable tools and inspiration.

The Family Self Sufficiency program supports families receiving housing assistance by helping them set and achieve financial and personal goals. Through personalized coaching and access to resources like job training and homeownership counseling, participants work toward economic independence - including the dream of buying their own home.

We are proud to partner with Keller Williams Auburn Opelika during Homeownership Month and beyond to support families on their path to homeownership.
