EFFECTIVE MARCH 23RD, 2020

The Housing Authority of the City of Opelika has determined that due to the COVID-19 situation, all authority buildings will be closed through April 5, 2020, as of 5 p.m. today, March 23rd, 2020.

Our agency and its departments will continue to serve by phone or email throughout this time, as best as possible.  Signs will be posted on the doors of all buildings with contact information and the Authority’s website will continue to share information at www.opelikaha.org or http://www.opelikaha.org/Default.asp?ID=163&pg=COVID%2D19+INFO.

The Housing Authority will reevaluate the situation by April 5th, 2020 and update accordingly.

The Authority plans to maintain continuity of services during this time frame. Essential services like emergency maintenance needs, site inspections, lease compliance and enforcement and while doing so, taking measures to make sure staff are practicing safe social distancing.

Given the uncertainty associated with the COVID-19 Pandemic, this closure is subject to change at any time.

Please bear with us as we work through these extraordinary circumstances.
