Resident Meetings

All of the residents of each OHA public housing complex are automatically members of the Resident Association for the complex where they live. There are no dues. The association meets quarterly. OHA supports the Resident Association and provides limited funding, meeting space and staff assistance as needed.

Opelika Housing Authority is seeking residents who care about their community to come and participate in the Resident Association Meetings. The Resident Association meeting dates are as follows:

• Tuesday, July 24, 2007; Site 61-11 (Pleasant, Plum); 3:00 p.m. Pleasant Office- 316 Pleasant Drive.
• Tuesday, July 24, 2007; Site 61-12, (Cherry, S. Antioch, N. Antioch, W.E Morton, Toomer); 1:00 p.m.; Administrative Building - 1706 Toomer Street.
• Thursday, July 26, 2007; Site 61-13; (Fruitwood,Maple, Raintree, Samford Place, Samford Court, Samford Way, Chester, Alice, Potter); 3:00 p.m. Raintree Community Center - 500 Raintree Street.
• Thursday, July 26, 2007; Site 61-11 (Camp Hill Area); 1:00 p.m. Camp Hill Resident Community Center - E-131 Henderson.

• Tuesday, October 23, 2007; Site 61-12, (Cherry, S. Antioch, N. Antioch, W.E Morton, Toomer); 3:00 p.m.; Administrative Building - 1706 Toomer Street.
