Maintenance Mechanic (HVAC):  The Housing Authority of the City of Opelika is seeking a housing professional with a high degree of skill in the plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and mechanical/HVAC related trade fields.  Responsibilities include general repair of: interior/exterior of buildings, damaged roofs, walls, floors, doors, windows, cabinets and locks; wiring and mechanical parts of electrical systems; plumbing fixtures and fittings; drains and sewer lines; water heaters and sinks; gas main piping and connecting equipment; and complex HVAC maintenance, operation, installation, and repair.  The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma, certification in heating and air conditioning repair, and at least three years of experience in general maintenance and HVAC repair or an equivalent combination of experience and training.  Salary range is dependent upon experience.  Interested applicants must submit a completed Employment Application with qualifications to Personnel, Opelika Housing Authority, 1706 Toomer Street, Opelika, Alabama mail to P.O.
