The Opelika Housing Authority's admissions office assists individuals who are interested in applying for conventional Public Housing and Section 8 Housing Choice voucher programs. Applications for Public Housing are accepted Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The Opelika Housing Authority is closed between the hours of 12 noon- 1:00 p.m for lunch. Section 8 Voucher Choice Program is closed. Rent is based on income. The Intake office maintains a waiting list of eligible applicants.
